
Department of Electromechanical Engineering Hosts Iftar for Dormitory Students
Coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan, Electromechanical Engineering Department at the University of Technology hosted iftar for dormitory students. The event was attended by Assistant President of Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Farhad Mohammed Othman, and a number of department heads and lecturers.
It was initiated by the Head of Electromechanical Engineering Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ghassan Abdul Hussein Bilal, expressing the department’s strong sense of parental responsibility toward its students. The department strives to harness all its capabilities to provide a university environment that enables students to continue their academic pursuits and achieve academic excellence despite all the circumstances and challenges they may face.
The initiative included providing a full iftar meal in a blessed Ramadan atmosphere filled with feelings of friendliness and reassurance, creating a bright and cheerful image on the students’ faces. This was organized by Senior Engineer Haider Hussein Alwan. In turn, the department’s students expressed their thanks and appreciation to the department head for this initiative, which will enhance their communication with the faculty and provide a positive environment conducive to their success and excellence.
