Department of Mechanical Engineering Organizes Scientific Visit to the General Company for Hydraulic Industries

As part of the field scientific activities of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Technology, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Department, Professor Dr. Alaa Abdul Hadi Jabr, the Automotive Engineering Branch organized a scientific visit for fourth-year students to the General Company for Hydraulic Industries to learn about the applied and practical aspects related to their specialization.

The Head of the Branch, Dr. Sajida Fares Sabri, said that this visit comes within a series of scientific activities that the department is keen to organize with the support of the department and branch presidency, with the aim of enhancing students’ practical skills and motivating them to actively engage in the labor market, by linking academic knowledge with practical reality, which qualifies them for a distinguished professional career in the fields of mechanical engineering and related industries.

The delegation, which included faculty members Professor Dr. Mahmoud Attallah Mashkour, Lect. Dr. Qahtan Adnan Abbas, Lect.Dr. Kadhim Hassan Ali, and Assistant Lecturer Hamza Majid Jaafar, was received by a number of engineers and specialists at the company.

The company’s staff expressed their admiration for the distinguished scientific level shown by the students of the Automotive Engineering Branch, and appreciated their interaction and interest in the various aspects of the visit, noting that this type of scientific interaction enriches the applied aspects and reflects the quality of education in the department.
