Electrical Engineering Department Delegation Visits Al-Ain Social Welfare Foundation

A delegation from the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Technology visited the Al-Ain Social Welfare Foundation as part of the humanitarian and volunteer activities and community service that the Electrical Engineering Department is keen on.

The delegation, headed by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Kanaan Ali Jalal, along with a number of faculty members, staff, and students of the department, met with the foundation’s management. They were briefed through a field tour of the foundation’s corridors on its projects to support orphans. They also visited the Rehabilitation and Psychological Counseling Centre, which the foundation provides to orphans to support them psychologically and prepare them to integrate into society.

At the end of the visit, the foundation’s management thanked the department’s professors and students for this kind initiative, which reflects the essence of true humanity and the culture of empathy for others, and the continuous efforts to support this important segment of society with the available capabilities to alleviate their burdens.
