Electromechanical Engineering Conducts Unified Assessment Exam with Al-Kitab University College

The College of Electromechanical Engineering at the University of Technology conducted a joint assessment examination between the Department of Unmanned Aircraft Systems and Al-Kitab University College, under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ghassan Abdul Hassan Bilal, and the Head of the Aircraft Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hameed Rajah.

This unified examination, administered to second-year students of the Aircraft Systems Department, falls within the framework of joint scientific cooperation and the twinning agreement concluded between the University of Technology – College of Electromechanical Engineering – Department of Unmanned Aircraft Systems Engineering, and Al-Kitab University – College of Engineering, where the exam questions are standardized.

This test is based on a strategic vision set by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to enhance the rigor of university examinations. It operates according to the standards and criteria of the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority and the recommendations of the specialized deans’ committees in scientific and humanities fields. Annually, a joint central assessment examination is conducted between public and private universities during the final examinations.

The objective of conducting the assessment examination is to enhance rigor and elevate the scientific reality of all universities and colleges, as well as to standardize scientific curricula and develop cooperation in areas of joint research and the exchange of experiences between public and private universities in order to support the educational process in Iraq
