
Department of Materials Engineering Hosts Scientific Symposium Structures
The Department of Materials Engineering at the University of Technology organized a scientific symposium entitled “Recycling Construction and Demolition Waste and Building Green, Environmentally Friendly Structures.” The symposium was delivered by Prof. Dr. Aseel Basim and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abdul Hussein, and was attended by the Assistant Head of the Department for Administrative Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Leath Wadhah Ismail, as well as a number of faculty members and students.
The symposium covered topics such as the meaning of sustainability, recycling, operational methods, and their significance in water and land pollution.
The symposium concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the speakers by the Assistant Head of the Department in recognition of their outstanding efforts in preparing and delivering the lecture.
