
Ministerial Committee Visits Electromechanical Engineering College in Preparation for Launching Master’s Program in UAV Systems
A committee from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research conducted a visit to the College of Electromechanical Engineering at the University of Technology to assess the material and human resources available, as a preliminary step toward establishing a Master’s program in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Systems within the Department of Aircraft Systems.
The committee was received by the Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ghassan Abdul-Hussein Bilal, the Head of the Aircraft Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hameed, along with members of the College Council and several faculty members.
The ministerial committee was composed of: Prof. Dr. Baqir Turki Atiyah (Chair),Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Hussein Hameed, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mazin Thani Mohsen, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jabbar Manati (Members).
During the visit, the committee conducted a field tour of the college’s facilities to evaluate the material and human capabilities in preparation for launching the postgraduate program in UAV systems.
The visiting delegation reviewed all relevant documents regarding the proposed program and inspected classrooms, discussion halls, the library, and specialized laboratories in the field.
