President of the University of Technology Receives Ministerial Committee on Improving Laboratory Quality

On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, the President of the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Mohsen Nouri Hamza, received the special committee from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research responsible for enhancing the quality of educational laboratories and ensuring the availability of safety and security requirements. The meeting was attended by the University’s Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Khawla Salah Khashan, Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, Professor Dr. Zainab Nasser Jameel, and Head of the Accreditation Division, Senior Chief Engineer Ibtisam Abdulreda Abbas.

During the meeting, the President affirmed the university’s full support for efforts aimed at developing and improving educational laboratories in line with quality and accreditation standards. He also praised the committee’s work in monitoring the implementation of these standards and contributing to the advancement of academic excellence.

The ministerial committee included Assistant Professor Dr. Lama Hassan Alwan from the University of Baghdad, Lecturer Dr. Mohammed Sabah Hameed, Assistant Lecturer Rowan Bashar Fadel, and Senior Chief Engineer Rabee Issam Yahya,  all members of the Accreditation Department at the Directorate of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation in the Ministry.
