Production Engineering Department Organizes Scientific Visit to the Iraqi Biological Survey Authority

The Mining and Mineral Extraction Branch of the Department of Production and Minerals Engineering at the University of Technology organized a scientific visit to the Iraqi Biological Survey Authority, accompanied by fourth-year students and under the supervision of the branch head, Assistant Professor Dr. Amjad Ibrahim Fadel, and a number of the branch’s faculty members.

The visit included introductory lectures about the Geological Museum and the laboratories in the authority, where laboratory officials provided a brief explanation to the students about the mechanism of the laboratories’ work and the analyses conducted by the authority.

For his part, the supervisor of the scientific visit and the accompanying teaching delegation expressed their thanks and gratitude to the staff who received the delegation and the authority’s employees for their efforts in providing all the necessary needs and providing all facilities to make this visit successful. An agreement was reached to activate joint cooperation between the department and the authority in several aspects, including facilitating students in conducting the necessary tests to complete their research, holding joint scientific workshops and seminars, and cooperating in the field of summer training and higher studies, and benefiting from scientific cadres to serve the public interest.
