Representing the Prime Minister, the Minister of Education announces a letter of thanks and appreciation from his Excellency to academics on the occasion of Iraqi Academics Day.

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, announced the sending of a letter of thanks and appreciation from the Prime Minister to Iraqi academics. He also extended his thanks and appreciation to all employees of the 2Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its various departments on the occasion of Iraqi Academics Day. During the special celebration, the Minister of Education honored a group of martyrs’ and wounded relatives, university presidents, representatives of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, and a number of distinguished researchers. In his speech, delivered on behalf of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, in the presence of a crowd of academics and parliamentary figures, he emphasized that the focus on development has been and continues to be the cornerstone of academic performance. He noted that two and a half years of work at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research demonstrates a rich experience and achievements, including the establishment of the Scientific Research Authority, the internationalization of education, linking academic programs to global changes, securing the path to Iraqi certification, increasing the Iraqi scientific research index, and attracting more than three thousand international students to Iraqi universities. In turn, the President of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, Dr. Ali Masir, praised the care and attention shown by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, in managing the education sector and its universities, and in achieving the highest level of positive academic performance for Iraqi universities in the context of global rankings and rankings.
