The Arabic Language in the Modern Era” Workshop Organized by the Department of Electromechanical Engineering

The Department of Electromechanical Engineering at the University of Technology organized an educational and awareness-raising workshop on “The Arabic Language in the Modern Era.” This event was part of the activities of the Unmanned Aerial Systems Engineering Department and was attended by several faculty members and students.

The workshop, presented by the Head of the Human Rights Unit, Asst. Prof. Sajad Qasim Ghudban, highlighted the importance of the Arabic language in the world due to its special status on many fronts, particularly as the language of the Holy Qur’an, which enhances its religious and cultural significance among Muslims.

It was also mentioned that Arabic has been one of the six official languages of the United Nations since 1973, reflecting its global impact.

The workshop emphasized that the Arabic language has always carried a rich heritage of culture and thought, from literature and philosophy to science and history
