The Computer Engineering Department holds an awareness workshop on the dangers of irregular migration.

The Computer Engineering Department at the University of Technology organized an awareness workshop entitled “The Dangers of Irregular Migration.” The workshop was attended by the Scientific Deputy, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ayman Dawood Salman, the Administrative Deputy, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Musa Dinar, and several faculty members, staff, and students from the department.

The workshop, presented by Lecturer Adi Assi, Advisor at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, and Ms. Nabaa Sadiq, addressed the most prominent challenges and dangers associated with irregular migration, including exploitation, human trafficking, legal violations, and the health and security risks that migrants may face during their journey or at their destination. The workshop also highlighted the importance of following legal procedures to avoid falling victim to smuggling and exploitation networks.

The workshop concluded with an open discussion, and the Administrative Deputy presented certificates of appreciation to the lecturers in recognition of their efforts in organizing the workshop.
