The Control and Systems Engineering Department Holds a Joint Exam in Cooperation with Al-Maqal Private University

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Mohsen Nouri Hamza, the work of the supervisory and follow-up committees for the joint exams began. The exams were held as part of the twinning agreement signed between the University of Technology – Department of Control and Systems Engineering and Al-Maqal Private University – College of Engineering – Department of Control and Computer Engineering.

The first joint exam included students in the second, third, and fourth years, who were tested in the following subjects:

Control Theory – Second Year, Computer Architecture – Third Year, and Computer Networks – Fourth Year.

For his part, Professor Dr. Ahmed Sabah Al-Araji, Head of the Department of Control and Systems Engineering at the University of Technology, confirmed that the exams were conducted in a positive organizational atmosphere and under the direct supervision of the committee charged with monitoring the progress of the exam process at Al-Maqal Private University.

He pointed out that the committees consisted of instructors from the Department of Control and Systems Engineering, who were specifically dispatched to supervise the field exams at the joint examination sites. The second joint exam is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, as a continuation of this scientific cooperation, which aims to enhance the quality of academic education and ensure academic integrity between the two institutions.
