The Department of Architecture Holds a Ramadan Evening

In celebration of the blessed month of Ramadan, the Department of Architecture at the University of Technology organized a Ramadan evening under the patronage of the Department Head, Prof. Dr. Abbas Ali Hamza, and supervised by the Administrative Assistant, Asst. Prof. Dr. Yahya Adel Ibrahim, the Head of Student Activities, Asst. Prof. Dr. Huda Mohammad Suleiman, and the Head of the Media Unit, asst. L. Inas Ali Salman, with the cooperation of the department’s students, especially fourth-year students Lithe Raed, Zahra Haider, and Ahmed Ali.

The evening was also attended by the Scientific Assistant, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mufeed Ihsan Al-Shouk, along with a number of the department’s lecturers, staff, and students.

The evening included the students distributing blessings food in memory of the two late students, Ali Nabil Salem and Ibrahim Lafta, may they rest in peace. The event also celebrated the department’s retired professors, Prof. Dr. Safa’ al-Din al-Samarrai and Asst. Prof. Dr. Shama’il Mohammad Wajeeh.
