
The Department of Biomedical Engineering Organizes a Lecture on “Respecting Parents”
Based on the directives of Professor Dr. Wissam Kadhim Al-Saraji, Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Technology, the department organized a lecture on “Respecting Parents.” The lecture was delivered by Ammar Abbas Kadhim, the head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit in the department, in the presence of a number of students at the Quds Hall.
The lecture addressed the importance of respecting parents as a noble human value and a sacred duty emphasized by heavenly religions. The lecturer explained that honoring parents involves obeying them, treating them kindly, and being gentle with them throughout their lives, as well as continuing to honor them after their passing by praying for them and fulfilling their wishes. The lecture emphasized that respecting parents is a great act of worship that brings God’s pleasure and blessings in both this life and the hereafter.
