The Department of Chemical Engineering Participates in the 2nd International Scientific Conference on Environmental Technologies and Sustainable Development

As part of its scientific and international engagements, the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Technology participated in the 2nd International Scientific Conference on Environmental Technologies and Sustainable Development (Environment and Sustainability Technologies).

The participation included the attendance of Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdul-Jabbar Abdul-Razzaq and the presentation of a scientific paper titled Kinetics Studies of Methane Dry Reforming to Hydrogen-Rich Syngas over Ga-Ni/ZrO2 Catalyst by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mi Ali Muslim Al-Saffar, Head of the Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Pollution Branch, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aliyah Khudair Majid and Lecturer Mohammed Abdul-Rahman Abdul-Ghani.

The aim of this conference, held for the second time by Kumar University and Uniro University, was to highlight various applications of environmental and sustainable development technologies. Topics covered included environmental pollution, climate change, renewable energy, methods of environmental sustainability, and many other related issues, as well as other disciplines including environmental sciences, pollution, advanced sciences, and numerous other scientific fields.

It is worth noting that the events of the first day of the conference were held at Uniro University in Indonesia, while the second and third days took place at Kumar University of Science and Technology in Sulaimaniya, Iraq.
