
The University of Technology Signs a Twinning and Joint Cooperation Agreement with Al-Noor University
The University of Technology, specifically the Department of Mechatronics Engineering, signed a twinning and joint cooperation agreement with Al-Noor University – College of Engineering.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the University of Technology by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ghassan Abdul Hussein Bilal, Head of the Department of Mechatronics Engineering, and on behalf of Al-Noor University by Prof. Dr. Saad Ali Hassan Al-Taan, Dean of the College of Engineering. This agreement aims to strengthen the partnership and bilateral cooperation between the two institutions. The signing ceremony took place at Al-Noor University in Mosul, with the attendance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hamid Rija, Head of the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Branch, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Amir Abdul Jadou, Head of the Renewable Energy and Energy Branch.
The Head of the Mechatronics Engineering Department emphasized the college’s commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation with Iraqi universities. He also highlighted the importance of effectively implementing all the terms of the agreement and establishing a coordination team to carry out its provisions.
The agreement includes cooperation in all scientific and research fields and serves to underscore the central role that the University of Technology plays in the development of research and training services. It also emphasizes the university’s commitment to developing human resources academically and professionally in order to enrich the educational process and serve the community.
