
Three-Minute Graduation Projects Competition Launches in the Electrical Engineering Department
The first phase of “Three-Minute Graduation Projects Competition” for undergraduate students was launched in Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Technology, held in Al- Furat Hall when a group of outstanding students competing to present their research projects to a panel of judges. After the projects were presented and evaluated, the Scientific Committee announced the winning project submitted by students: Hassan Qais Latif and Tabarak Mohammed Abdul Wahid.
Their project was titled:
“Design and Implementation of Elevator Control System Based on Arduino Microcontroller”
Under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Hassan Mahmoud Azawi,
The jury consisted of:
- Dr. Dhari Yousef Mahmoud / the head.
- Dr. Raed Thuban Hamad.
- Prof. Dr. Suad Ibrahim Shahel.
- Prof. Dr. Azad Badr Karim.
- Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Noman / Rapporteur.
Based on the scientific evaluation and research content of the project, the students qualified for the second level of the competition at the University of Technology, where they will compete with the winners from the other departments in the final competition. This competition is an important and valuable opportunity for students to acquire presentation and public speaking skills, while enhancing their research and academic capabilities.
At the conclusion of the competition, certificates of appreciation were distributed to the winning participants.
