These reviewers internally monitor the university’s progress in applying the requirements and fulfilling the indicators based on the observations of the external evaluation teams.

The panel discussion addressed:

  • The importance of internal review in educational institutions.
  • The role of the reviewer before the external evaluator’s field visit and the continuous application of standards after obtaining conditional or full accreditation.
  • In addition to the qualifications and specifications of the internal reviewer and the stages of the review process, checklists and procedures, and how to prepare a detailed review plan.
  • Finally, emphasis was placed on the sustainability of applying institutional accreditation standards even after obtaining conditional or full accreditation.
