The President of the University Praise the Achievement of Female Students of the University in the Iraqi Universities Volleyball Championship

The President of University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Hassan, praised the achievement of the university’s female student team by winning third place in the Iraqi Universities Volleyball Championship (Central Region) that was recently held at the College of Basic Education at Al-Mustansiriya University, and qualifying for the final rounds of the Iraqi Universities Championship for Female Students, which is expected to be held in the second half of the academic year 2024-2025.

This came during Al-Ghaban’s reception of the delegation of University of Technology of Volleyball Team headed by the Director of the Student Activities Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Amin Dhnoon Ahmed, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Mona Taha Idris, the team coach Assist. Lec Nour Ayad Abbas, the assistant coach Zainab Saadi Majeed, the team administrator, Assist. Lec Murtadha Ali Judeh, and a group of female students participating in the championship.

The university president appreciated the efforts of the university team for presenting a distinguished level in the championship that enabled it to obtain this position, in addition to the efforts of the Student Activities Department for these achievements made in various university championships.

In turn, the delegation of the University of Technology team gives this victory and achievement as a gift to the university president.

The University of Technology team had won third place in the Iraqi Universities Championship with the participation of 10 public and private universities after its exciting victory over the Al-Farahidi University team with two sets to one set after a decisive set in its favor with a score of 15-14 points.
