University’s AI Committee Holds Regular Meeting

The university’s artificial intelligence committee held its regular meeting, chaired by Prof.Dr. Khula Salah Khushan, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs. The meeting focused on discussing the university’s draft AI strategy, recent developments in AI, and how to leverage AI to enhance the quality of education and research.

The meeting focused on strategies to integrate AI into curricula, training programs for faculty members, and administrative processes. Additionally, the committee discussed new proposals for establishing a specialized AI research centre aimed at fostering innovation, research, serving the community, and developing undergraduate and graduate programs in AI.

The committee considers these steps essential to keeping pace with global developments. In the coming days, the university’s AI strategy will be launched and implemented starting this year by incorporating AI courses into all undergraduate and graduate programs.
