Since its establishment on the first of April 1975, the University of Technology vision has been to produce a large number of graduates from engineering, and it did not stop there, but succeeded in creating a number of intellectuals and scientists at a high level of science and knowledge.
The Establishment
The university started with only five engineering departments, then gradually expanded until it reached sixteen scientific and engineering departments, three research centers, five service centers and two consulting bureaus.
The University of Technology continued to grow and shine, not only in size, but also in the fields of scientific research, both engineering and science.
Development
The university has taken wide and serious steps to keep pace with developments in the academic field, including the initiation of e-learning in addition to in-person education and following all modern and innovative teaching curricula that contribute to the development of students’ capabilities, as well as investing in the scientific research process to develop radical solutions to all the problems that society suffers in the industrial and economic sectors such as agriculture and environment, which is based on activating the process of sustainable development and its contribution at the national and international levels.
