The Diwan Affairs Department Wins the Technological University Football Championship for Administrative Staff
The Agricultural Division team of the Diwan Affairs Department claimed the title of the Technological University Football Championship for administrative staff after defeating the Internal Sections Affairs Department team 4-2 in the final match, which took place on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at the university stadium. The match was attended by the Vice President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Farhad Mohammed Osman.The winning goals for the Agricultural Division team were scored by players Dread Ali (two goals), Ibrahim Hassan, and Mohammed Ali, while the two goals for the Internal Sections Affairs team were scored by Osama Mohammed and Alaa Obeid.The final match, in which 8 teams participated, was officiated by referees Hussein Abdul Reda, Murtada Ali Joda, and Yasser Hassan, with supervision by Noor Jassim.The Vice President for Administrative Affairs presented individual awards to the referees and the tournament’s top scorer, Alaa Obeid from the Internal Sections, as well as the best goalkeeper, Ahmed Abdul Hassan, and the best player, Salim Sabeeh, both from the Agricultural Division. Additional individual awards were given to the players of the teams that finished in the top two positions. The winning teams also received trophies:The Agricultural Division from the Diwan Affairs Department, which claimed first place; the Internal Sections Affairs Department, which came in second; the Coordination Division from the Diwan Affairs Department, which took third place; and the Department of Construction and Projects, which was awarded third place
