Workshop in the Department of Electrical Engineering on “University Ecosystem and Its Role in Entrepreneurship and Achieving Sustainable Development Goals”

As part of ongoing efforts to promote innovation and entrepreneurship within the university environment, the Office of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies organized a workshop on Thursday, November 28, 2024, in the Department of Electrical Engineering, titled “University Ecosystem and Its Role in Entrepreneurship and Achieving Sustainable Development Goals.”

The workshop was conducted by Dr. Manal Abdul Wahid, Head of the Technological Incubators Division, and Asst. Lecturer Fadhel Abbas from the Computer Science Department. It focused on the university ecosystem as a strategic platform for supporting innovative projects, encouraging entrepreneurs, and fostering economic and social development.

The workshop also highlighted the features of the University Ecosystem Platform, which provides comprehensive information on support programs, workshops, and funding opportunities. The platform aims to connect students with entrepreneurs and investors to promote innovative partnerships.

The event witnessed significant participation and engagement from students and faculty members, enriching discussions and encouraging the exchange of ideas across various disciplines.
