
Workshop on Engineering Program Accreditation
The College of Electromechanical Engineering and the Iraqi Council for Engineering Education organized a workshop to review the required documents for the engineering program accreditation of the Electromechanical Systems branch.
Under the directives of the Dean of the College of Electromechanical Engineering at the University of Technology (Asst.Prof.Dr. Ghassan Abdul Hussein Bilal), the college and the Iraqi Council for Engineering Education organized a field workshop to review the required documents for the engineering program accreditation of the Electromechanical Systems branch.
The workshop was coordinated by the Council Chairman (Professor Ziad Sulaiman Muhammad Khalid) and was field-managed by Council member (Professor Jalal Muhammad Jalil) and (Asst. Prof. Dr. Israa Saad Ahmed), Head of the Electromechanical Systems Branch.
Delegations from Baghdad and Al-Nahrain Universities participated in the workshop, where they were briefed on the essential aspects of the documentation required to prove readiness to apply for accreditation through examples in the Electromechanical Systems program for the years (2022-2023) and (2023-2024). The workshop also included presentations on the Industry Advisory Board, the end-of-stage survey, and direct measurement tests for all outputs.
The University of Baghdad delegation included (Professor Mirfat Abdul Razzaq Wali, College of Engineering, Associate Professor Karim Hassan Ali, College of Engineering, Associate Professor Iman Qasim Abdul Hussein, College of Engineering, Associate Professor Lama Hassan Alwan, University Presidency, Dr. Wael Sami Sersam, College of Engineering), while the University of Al-Nahrain delegation included (Professor Aqil Abdullah Muhammad, College of Engineering, Professor Ahmed Wahid Mustafa, College of Engineering, Associate Professor Ali Sabry Abbas / College of Engineering, Dr. Saheb Jawad Kazim, College of Engineering, Ms. Shams Rahim Mazal, College of Engineering).
