President of the University of Technology Receives Head of the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control

The President of the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Mohsen Nouri Hamza, received in his office the Head of the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control, Professor Dr. Eng. Fayadh Muhammad Abdul, in the presence of the Assistant Presidents of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Farhad Muhammad Othman, and the Assistant Presidents for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Khawla Salah Khashan.

The two sides discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between the organization and the university in the fields of innovation and scientific research.

During the meeting, several joint issues were discussed, most notably the investment of patents issued by the Central Organization according to specific mechanisms and well-thought-out plans, to ensure the transformation of creative ideas into practical projects that contribute to supporting the national economy. Plans to establish scientific incubators to support inventors and innovators and stimulate the research environment in Iraq, which possesses creative minds that need support and guidance, were also touched upon.
