The 7th session of “Riyada” (Leadership) initiative concluded at Continuing Education Centre, organized by the Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Division of the Scientific Assistant’s Office at the University of Technology Presidency. This initiative is part of their on-going efforts to support youth and develop their skills in entrepreneurship and the Iraqi labour market.
The session witnessed the participation of (17) trainees, of whom (4) were nominated for the second stage. These selected trainees received intensive training on the latest entrepreneurship strategies, project management, and career planning, under the supervision of specialized trainers in the field.
The Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Division at the university emphasized that this initiative aligns with the strategic plan sponsored by the Prime Minister, Engineer Mohammed Shia’a Al-Sudani, which aims to empower young people to enter the labor market with competitive skills and provide a supportive environment for innovation and creativity in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.
It is worth noting that the registration requirements for the “Riyada” initiative courses are as follows: the applicant’s age must not be less than 18 years, they must not have participated in any “Riyada” initiative courses this year, and they must possess a unified national ID card.
