Administrative Assistant inspects the pavilions of the Computer Science Department’s exhibition on the occasion of University’s Golden Jubilee

On the occasion of the Golden Jubilee marking fifty years since the establishment of the University of Technology, the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Farhad Mohammed Othman, inspected the pavilions of the exhibition held by the Computer Science Department under the slogan “Fifty Years of Excellence and Giving.” The inspection was attended by the Dean of the Department, Professor Dr. Alaa Kadhim Farhan, the assistants, and the heads of branches.

The art exhibition was a platform for expressing creativity, where students displayed paintings and designs inspired by the world of technology and innovation. The exhibition also showcased trophies won by the department, graduation photos, scientific publications by the department’s professors, handicrafts, artworks, and Arabic calligraphy, reflecting the creativity and distinction of the department’s students.

As for the technical exhibition, it featured a collection of robots, devices, and distinguished student projects. Educational robots, robotic arms, and 3D printers were also displayed.

Distinguished computer science students presented smart applications, analysis systems, and e-commerce websites that expressed their ideas for solving real-world problems in society.

At the end of the visit, the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Othman, expressed his admiration and appreciation for the high level demonstrated by the Computer Science Department’s exhibition and the creativity of its students.
