
Biomedical Engineering Department Organizes a Visit to the Al Ain Charity Foundation
Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Technology, in cooperation with the Volunteer Work Committee, organized a humanitarian visit to the Al Ain Charity Foundation, exemplifying the values of humanity and social solidarity.
The visit was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ziad Qasim Habib, Scientific Deputy; Dr. Alaa Mohammed Daoud, Head of the Medical Devices Branch; and Dr. Ali Jalal Ali, Head of the Volunteer Work Committee. In addition to number of Biomedical Engineering Department faculty members, members of the Volunteer Work Committee, and a group of students from the department.
The visit included present gifts to orphaned children, as well as an introductory tour of the foundation, to learn about its departments and work mechanisms. The visit also addressed the types of orphan sponsorship and their implementation mechanisms, which contributed to instilling the concepts of giving and social responsibility among the participants.
At the end of their visit, the delegation expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to the management of Al Ain Charity Foundation for the profound impact such humanitarian initiatives on people. They emphasized that these visits embody the depth of cohesion between the university and the community, and through them, the university seeks to instill a spirit of solidarity, compassion, and giving among our dear students, so that they may be community builders who carry the torch of goodness and humanity wherever they are.
