
Chemical Engineering’s Postgraduate Studies Curriculum Development Committee Holds its Meeting to Enhance Curricula with Modern Scientific Developments
Based on the programs of the University of Technology and the Department of Chemical Engineering which aimed at serving the community and the labor market and keeping pace with modern scientific developments, the Postgraduate Studies Curriculum Development Committee in the Department of Chemical Engineering / University of Technology held its first meeting headed by Professor Dr. Khaled Ajmi Sukkar, Dean of the Department of Chemical Engineering, to discuss modern mechanisms for developing postgraduate curricula in line with scientific developments and labor market needs. The meeting included proposals from committee members to improve the curriculum content for master’s and doctoral studies. Emphasis was placed on strengthening modern applied aspects in the educational process and paying attention to the requirements of academic accreditation in accordance with the university’s plans.
It is worth noting that the Department of Chemical Engineering includes postgraduate studies for a doctorate, as well as a master’s degree in Chemical Processes Engineering, a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and Oil Refining, and a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and Oil Pollution
