Civil Engineering Department organizes a scientific visit to Al- Zafran housing block
As part of scientific activities conducted by Civil Engineering Department, and in accordance with the Department Head directives, Prof. Dr. Ali Majeed Khadir, and under the supervision of the Head of Geomatics Engineering Branch, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Naeem Hamoudi organized a scientific visit for senior students, (both morning and evening study), to Al- Zafran housing block (horizontal and vertical housing units), located in the Zafraniya area.
The visit aimed to increase the students’ knowledge of the field of civil engineering and the practical aspects of constructing the units in addition to tutorial on all laboratory tests conducted before and during the project’s progress.
The students were accompanied on their scientific visit by a group of Lecturers, including
