
College of Chemical Engineering Holds Awareness Lecture on the Importance of Student Discipline Law
On the occasion of the upcoming first-stage exams for the second semester, the Legal Unit at the College of Chemical Engineering, University of Technology, organized an awareness seminar titled “Student Discipline Law: Objectives and Provisions.” The lecture was delivered by the head of the Legal Unit, Asst. Lecturer Hudhaifa Mohsen Saeed, who provided a detailed explanation of the law’s articles and the seriousness and effectiveness of its application within educational institutions.
The speaker emphasized the importance of academic departments clarifying the law’s provisions and ensuring students are thoroughly informed about them, highlighting the law’s significance. He also stressed the necessity for students to adhere to the law, follow its guidelines, and maintain appropriate conduct on campus.
A direct discussion Lecture was opened with the students to gather their opinions and assess their understanding of the law’s contents.
It is worth noting that this lecture aimed to promote legal awareness among students in universities and higher education institutions.
The Lecture was chaired by legal lawer Jaafar Mishri Farhan from the college’s Legal Unit.
