
Computer Engineering Department holds training workshop on entrepreneurship and financial literacy
As part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the University of Technology, the Computer Engineering Department, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports – the Governorates Department, held a training workshop entitled “Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy – Your First Steps Towards the Future.” The workshop was presented by Dr. Abdul Rahman Audai and Ms. Sally Ibrahim Jabbar from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, in the presence of the Administrative Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Musa Dinar, and a number of faculty members and students of the department.
The workshop aimed to develop entrepreneurial skills among young people and encourage them to start their own projects by understanding the mechanisms of turning ideas into realistic and feasible projects with the lowest possible costs.
The workshop focused on the financial literacy aspect and included topics on preparing a personal budget, savings planning, investment concepts, and making smart financial decisions.
The workshop witnessed remarkable interaction from the students, within the framework of the department’s efforts to empower them and build their capabilities towards a successful professional future.
