Control and Systems Engineering Department holds a workshop on gender equality in workplace

The Control and Systems Engineering Department, in collaboration with the Women’s Affairs Unit and the Administrative Affairs Department at the University of Technology, held a workshop entitled “Providing a Suitable Work Environment that Achieves Gender Equality Standards within the Framework of Implementing the Third National Plan for Women, Security and Peace: The Pillar of Participation and Institutional Reform,” with the attendance of faculty members and staff of the department.

The workshop, in which lectures were given by Asst. Prof. Farah Fleih from the Control and Systems Engineering Department and Lect. Dr. Zeina Nouri from the Administrative Affairs Department, included several important topics, among them: the importance of gender equality in the workplace, the challenges and obstacles facing the achievement of gender equality, strategies for improving the work environment to support gender equality, the role of leadership and administrative policies in promoting gender equality, best practices and successful experiences in implementing gender policies at work, the impact of gender equality on productivity and innovation at work, and stimulating awareness and cultural change to support gender equality.
