Department of Production Engineering Holds “Companionship with the Quran” Gathering as Part of its Ramadan Activities

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Mohsen Nouri Hamza, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Department of Production and Metallurgy Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhannad Muhammad Hussein Al-Khafaji, the Department of Production and Metallurgy Engineering / Women’s Affairs Unit and the Educational and Psychological Guidance Unit, in cooperation with the female students of the University of Technology (Techno University Students), organized a distinguished gathering entitled “Companionship with the Quran.”

This event was characterized by educational and ethical programs aimed at strengthening the position of the Holy Quran in the lives of students and participants, and highlighting its role as a source of light and tranquility. The gathering was a platform for spreading the values of tolerance and love, and included a recitation of the Holy Quran and an ethical Quranic lecture presented by Dr. Laith Al-Haidari, which focused on strengthening spiritual bonds and reflecting on the values of the Holy Quran and its impact on individuals’ lives. The lecturer addressed the importance of the Quran in strengthening the soul and refining morals, and highlighted how to draw strength and guidance from its noble verses.

The lecture included contributions and interventions from the faculty, who presented a vision on the importance of applying Quranic values in daily life, whether in the personal, academic, or professional field. Students and participants were encouraged to engage in open dialogues about their reflections and experiences with the Holy Quran, which added an interactive aspect that enhances participants’ understanding and encourages them to participate effectively. The gathering’s activities concluded with the distribution of certificates of appreciation for this blessed Ramadan event.
