Electrical Engineering Department Holds Afforestation Campaign

On the occasion of National Afforestation Day, the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Technology organized a large-scale campaign to plant trees and rehabilitate the areas surrounding the department’s buildings, under the direct supervision of the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Jabbar Khalaf Muhammad, and with a distinguished presence of the university presidency represented by the university president and his assistants, a ministerial committee specialized in the campaign, as well as deans, professors, and students of the department.

This activity comes in response to the directives of the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which aims to increase green spaces, sustain the environment, and encourage tree planting and care
