Electromechanical Engineering Department Discusses “Nano Coatings in Solar Energy” in Workshop

The Department of Electromechanical Engineering discussed the importance of “Nano Coatings in Solar Energy: New Prospects for Improving Thermal Absorption” in a workshop organized by the Department of Energy and Renewable Energies Engineering, presented by Lect. Dr. Lujain Sadiq Hayal, in the presence of the head of the department, Asst. Lect. Dr. Amir Abdul Jadu’, and a number of professors and students of the department.

The workshop dealt with several aspects, including the definition of nanotechnology and its importance in solar energy applications, addressing the latest technologies used in nano coating, as well as reviewing the distinctive properties of nano coatings compared to traditional coatings.

The workshop also included clarifying the importance of coatings in improving the efficiency of solar energy systems and providing solutions to improve sustainability in renewable energy systems and support the trend towards developing more efficient and environmentally friendly nano coating technologies.
