First Stage of Three Minute Thesis Competition in Architectural Engineering Lunched

The Department of Architectural Engineering at the University of Technology launched the first stage of the “Three Minute Thesis Competition” for preliminary studies. Seven distinguished fifth-stage students competed: Ruqaya Hisham, Rahma Abd Jihad, Ayman Fouad Fakhri, Hassanein Nabil Ibrahim, Ammar Sabah, Mohammed Ali Haider Fadel, and Ronaq Diaa Salman. The competing students presented their theses before a judging committee comprising: Prof. Dr. Abbas Ali Hamza (Dean of Department), Asst. Prof. Dr. Mufeed Ihsan Shawk (Scientific Assistant), Asst. Prof. Dr. Zainab Hussein Raouf (Head of Architectural Design Branch), Lect .Dr. Lina Ghanem Jajawi (Head of Urban Design Branch), and Lect. Dr. Nagham Ahmed Jassim (Head of Exhibitions and Competitions Committee). At the end of the competition, the judging committee announced the victory of student Ruqaya Hisham in the first stage, qualifying her for the second stage of the competition to compete at the University of Technology level.
