The Head of Communications Engineering Department participates in the International Conference (Iraq Energy Conference 2025).

The Head of the Department of Communications Engineering, Associate Professor Dr. Afaneen Anwar Abboud, participated in the International Conference (Iraq Energy Conference 2025), which was organized by the Iraqi Development Platform (IDP) and held at the Babylon Hotel. The event was attended by the ambassadors of Germany, the UK, and the Netherlands, with participation from numerous researchers from both inside and outside Iraq.

The conference aimed to explore Iraq’s vast potential in the energy sector and its pivotal role in the global energy landscape. It focused on promoting sustainable development, providing investment opportunities, and fostering regional partnerships through lively discussions, keynote speeches, and interactive sessions. The conference also sought to offer practical insights and develop transformative recommendations for the energy and economy sectors in Iraq.
