Joint Scientific Collaboration between College of Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Training Institute

In light of the joint scientific collaboration between the University of Technology and the Ministry of Oil institutions, the Dean of the College of Chemical Engineering at the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Khalid Ajmi Sukkar, received the Director of the Curricula Department at the Petroleum Training Institute, expert Dr. Youssef Jawad Kadhim, in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies, Professor Dr. Talib Mohammed Nayef, the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Zainab Youssef, and Assistant Professor Dr. Salah Ibrahim Salman.

The two parties discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the field of summer training for the college’s students by utilizing industrial simulation systems available at the institute.

On the other hand, the Deanship of the College of Chemical Engineering expressed its readiness to provide the institute with expertise in the field of developing and evaluating curricula that simulate the industrial reality of oil refineries.
