
Launch of Global Entrepreneurship Week Activities at the University of Technology
The University of Technology has inaugurated the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, organized by the Technological Incubators and Ecosystem Division in collaboration with the Technological Incubators Unit. As part of the week’s events, an exhibition for creative projects was held in the Department of Control and Systems Engineering. The exhibition showcased a variety of projects, including automation and robotics, as well as modern agricultural technologies. The event was attended by a group of professors and students from the university, with active participation from Dr. Manal Abdul Wahid, Head of the Technological Incubators and Ecosystem Division. The activities also featured a panel discussion held in parallel with workshops organized by the Technological Incubators and Ecosystem team. The panel included contributions from: Asst. Lecturer Fadhel Abbas Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Noaman Prof. Dr. Mohammed Yousif Hassan Lecturer Dr. Sameem Abbas The discussion focused on key topics such as mechanisms for establishing startups, their development, and strategies to boost sales, while encouraging students to pursue entrepreneurship and private business ventures.
